![]() Remember- the built in "disk cleanup" is your friend- ccleaner and other alternatives are not really necessary nor even as thorough, and are potentially dangerous. I would not spend $100 on the larger version. There's enough room for one or two large games at a time. ![]() As long as you have another computer you can remotely transfer files to, space shouldn't really be an issue. $100+ for the 128GB is not worth it imo, that's rather large markup. I was thinking about getting a microsd but I don't even need it. I have the 64GB surface pro 1 and I generally have 20GB free. However the surface hardly has enough space for the symbols in the first place, so this isn't a concern. Which means you can't use the SDK debug dump analyzer to look at exactly what caused the problem. The only downside is if you have a BSOD, 512MB might not be large enough for the memory dump. The pagefile will never grow past 16mb if you do this, illustrating how unnecessary it is to have it set to 8GB. If you change the page file from "manage automatically" to the range 16MB-512MB, you free up 8GB of space. Just don't want to always have to carry it around I also have a 320gb external drive that I will be using. Maybe its just better to shell out for the 128GB version? I mean later on I could add a 64gb SD card to that and be set but money is tight as of now, so if I go with the 128gb version I doubt I will see an SD card in it anytime soon. ![]() And seeing as a Pro 2 is full fledged Windows, I can install programs primarily to the SD card, sure they will take up some space on the main drive, but I'm thinking it would be ok. the primary partition? I am coming from a 32gb Surface RT, and I never felt like I had any space issues. Is there going to be much of a problem with having that extra 64gb on the SD card vs. Should I shell out the extra 100 for the 128gb version, or should I just get a 64gb microSD card for 49 on Amazon? ![]() Ok so I preordered my Surface Pro 2, that I am going to pick up tomorrow after work However I preodered the 64gb version and I am thinking.
